Imam Malik bin Anas once told a young boy from Quraish (Imam Shafie):
O nephew, learn manners before you learn knowledge

Though manners knowledge is understood

Laith bin Saad said:
You are a more need of a little amount of manners then you are in need of great amounts of knowledge
